Robin has advised hundreds of established and emerging leaders. Working with them during periods of significant change within their organizations, or in their career, is his specialty. Robin led the Master’s in Public Administration Programs at Harvard Kennedy School where he advised highly successful mid-career professionals during that phase of professional transformation in their lives. His practice draws upon various leadership models, including inclusive leadership and adaptive leadership, to engage clients from a grounded, pragmatic perspective, focused on both personal excellence and organizational impact.
Robin’s executive advisory work also draws upon his four decades of leadership experience working in multiple sectors. He founded Star Insights ten years ago and led it to become one of the top strategy consulting firms for philanthropies and nonprofits in Los Angeles. Star Insights has advised dozens of renowned Los Angeles organizations including The California Community Foundation, The Huntington, The Los Angeles Area Chamber of Commerce, The Ralph M. Parsons Foundation, and the Heart of Los Angeles.
Robin earned a Bachelor’s degree from Mercyhurst College and Master in Public Administration Harvard University, Kennedy School of Government.

Robin laughs the hardest and loudest in the company of his talented wife and entertaining dogs.
